My School initiative

My School Loyalty card programme

MySchool is South Africa´s foremost school fund raising system, contributing more than R1.5 million to schools every month.
The MyVillage MyPlanet programme was launched as an extension of the MySchool programme, to provide conservation minded individuals the opportunity to support a worthy cause of their choice.

SANCCOB is proud to be affiliated with the MyPlanet programme.

This loyalty programme provides participants with a loyalty card. By simply presenting your MyPlanet Supporter Card when you shop at one of the many MySchool partners, a small percentage of your spend is given to SANCCOB on a monthly basis.

Benefits to YOU as a supporter

  • YOU are making a difference to help SANCCOB to save sea birds.If you have provided an e-mail address, you will receive a monthly statement showing what you have raised for SANCCOB.Woolworths gives R10 000 to a winning beneficiary and R10 000 to the winning card user every month. Each item purchased at Woolworths is an automatic entry into this Lucky Draw.

  • The funds generated through the MyPlanet programme is used by SANCCOB to continue our world renowned work to save oiled, ill, injured and orphaned sea birds.
How to get started
  1. Complete a Supporter Card Application form and choose SANCCOB as your beneficiary by clicking on the "Apply here" button. Your card will be posted to you directly.
  2. If you already have a Woolworths World of Difference card (ie Woolworths credit, account or cash card), you can link this card to SANCCOB as a beneficiary.
  3. If your card is not linked to SANCCOB, the funds will go into the Woolworths Trust and are then distributed as Woolworths deem fit. Please visit your closest Woolworths store to link your World of Difference card to SANCCOB.
  4. Should you wish to support more than one cause, your card can be linked to the beneficiaries of your choice and the income you raise on your card will be divided equally between these organizations. Call MySchool Client Service Centre on 0860 100 445 to make this request.
