Seals Beach Tennis Tournament (Smash Ball)

Time: 14h00 – 17h00, Registration from 13h00 (at demarcated section on beach)

Where: Cape St Francis Main Beach

Fee: R20pp (individual/ team entries)

‘Beacon of Hope’ Art Exhibition by Luan Cloete

Launch of the ‘Beacon of Hope’ 2016 Calendar

Kids Art Session with Luan Cloete prior to Exhibition: 14h00, inside the Seal Point Lighthouse

Fun family activity. The first of a three-year project: we’ll showcase twelve original art pieces of SANCCOB’s permanent penguins – all art for sale (including adopting the penguin & A4 calendar)

Penguin Open Air Cinema

Time: 19h30 – 20h00 (movie starts at 20h00)

Where: Seal Point Lighthouse, Cape St Francis

Fee: R50/ adult, R20/scholar

Bring your blankets, beach mats or campmasters and join the SANCCOB team in enjoying the latest Penguin Movie under the St Francis stars. Welcome to bring own drinks, but no food allowed as we offer carnival style refreshments: hotdogs, pancakes, popcorn, slush puppy, ice creams, candy floss – the works! On demand, the Open Air Cinema may be repeated

3rd Penguin Golf Day, Stableford Betterball Competition

Time: All day, first tee-off at 07h00 (Prize-giving at 18h30)

Where: The ‘Old Course’, St Francis Bay Golf Club

Day 4: “Effects of Oil on Seabirds”

The question everyone asks when learning more about seabird rehabilitation. Join us in learning more about the effects of oil on seabirds, some major oil spill events in the past, and how the SANCCOB team responds in rescuing and rehabilitating our precious seabirds.

Day 5: “Keeping our Oceans Clean”

Join SANCCOB in learning more about the state our oceans are in, the causes and sources of pollution and what we can do to to keep our oceans clean – followed by a short beach clean-up.
